Good Monday all,
These 2 paragraphs are from the ATA newsletter. I read it and thought: I must share this with you all!
So take 1 minute to read this yourself. 🙏
The assumption that tinnitus is the same for everyone may be one of the most consequential misconceptions surrounding the condition. When the gap between mild and severe tinnitus goes unacknowledged, people struggling at the more severe end of the spectrum can find themselves feeling more alone.
Two people can be diagnosed with tinnitus and be experiencing something entirely different. This is why community, raising awareness of tinnitus and its complexity, and simply being there for others who are struggling matter. 💙
Hope we all have a better week then the last one!
Guy.
