The Tinnitus Relief Trap That Keeps People Stuck 😟
Some days ago I shared a post called “You Don’t Need to Solve Everything at Once.” That post was about one of the biggest traps I see with tinnitus sufferers, trying to fix everything at the same time. Sleep. Stress. Sound therapy. Supplements. Spikes. Focus. Anxiety. Triggers. Habituation. And while the post was helpful, I actually think the video version explains it even better, especially why trying harder and doing more can sometimes keep your nervous system stuck in the exact state you are trying to escape. So if that post resonated with you, or if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by all the tinnitus advice, tools, and techniques out there, I think this video will be worth watching. 🗨️ I’d love your honest feedback too. After you watch it, come back here and tell me: What is the one thing that feels most important for you to focus on next? P.S. Also, keep an eye on the recent updates about coaching availability, both for the group program and one-on-one support. I’ll be sharing a few more updates later today, and some exciting things are starting to happen inside the community. 👀

I find myself really distressed by spikes that are so unpredictable.

Sound of Tinnitus
My tinnitus isn’t really loud. However, it is a high-pitched hissing and very intense. Any one here experiencing the same?

Mine can be a very high frequency static/hissing as well…I use in-ear sound therapy as needed.
Relaxed Community Hangout - Chat, ask questions, and get to know each other
It’s now scheduled, and I’d really love to see you there! 🤩 You can find it in the Calendar section above. 📅 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟔 (𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 + Zoom link 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬). This is going to be a relaxed and supportive get-together where we can chat, ask questions, get to know each other a little better, and talk through whatever feels most relevant right now. If you’ve been wanting a space to connect with others who truly understand tinnitus, share what’s been hard lately, talk about what’s helping, or just spend some time with good people in the community, this is for you. 👌 My hope is that this will be a warm, easy, low-pressure conversation where we can support each other, learn from each other, and leave feeling a little lighter. Would really love to have you there. 💙

Mother’s Day check-in for the moms in this community 💙🙆‍♀️
Mother’s Day is tomorrow, and I just wanted to pause for a moment and check in with the mothers here who are also dealing with tinnitus, hyperacusis, sound sensitivity, sleep struggles, or just the emotional weight that can come with all of this. A lot of mothers are used to being the ones who keep going no matter what. They show up, take care of others, carry a lot quietly, and often keep pushing even when they are exhausted or overwhelmed. So if you’re a mother in this community and you’ve been carrying all of that while also dealing with difficult symptoms in the background, I just want to say this clearly: 𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 🙏 I know these challenges can be invisible to other people. On the outside, you may still look like you’re handling everything. But inside, it can be tiring, frustrating, and sometimes very lonely. So I want to ask: How are you doing right now, really? Is there anything that feels especially hard this weekend? And is there any way I can support you, this week or going forward? If so, please let me know in the comments below (or message me directly). Let’s talk about it. Let’s have a real conversation about what’s been hard, what you need, or what might help. And to the rest of the community, I’d love to ask you too: How are you planning to support your mother, your wife, or another important mother in your life this weekend? Sometimes support is not just flowers or going out somewhere. Sometimes it’s patience. Sometimes it’s helping create a calmer day. Sometimes it’s simply being more understanding. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Feel free to share below. I think this could be a really meaningful conversation. 🙏 Have a great weekend & mother day! 💙 Guy.
