2 Lies & 1 Truth Comeback....! 🤩
It's been a while since we did one of these. But I know you're not beginners anymore.
So this time I'm not going easy on you. 😄
Three statements. Two are lies. One is the truth. Let's see who gets it.
Don't forget to explain WHY you choose a specific answer.
I'll reveal the answer in the comments tomorrow.
1. Tinnitus can temporarily disappear completely after intense physical exercise in some people. This happens because exercise-induced endorphins briefly suppress the brain's auditory threat response.
2. People with tinnitus in only one ear are statistically more likely to develop anxiety disorders than those with tinnitus in both ears. The brain finds bilateral tinnitus easier to process and habituate to than a single-sided signal.
3. Tinnitus can be temporarily suppressed by applying gentle pressure to specific points on the skull. This works because tinnitus in many people has a significant somatosensory component, meaning touch and pressure signals can directly modulate the sound.
