Welcome!
Welcome to The Way Forward We’re so glad you’re here. This community was created for young dads to connect, share, and grow together through the challenges and joys of fatherhood. To get started: 1️⃣ Comment below and share how fatherhood has been for you so far. 2️⃣ Invite another dad or friend who could benefit from this space. This is a place built on respect, honesty, and encouragement. Community Rule: No judging others! Everyone’s journey looks different, and that’s what makes this community strong. Let’s keep showing up for ourselves, our kids, and each other. Welcome to The Way Forward.
Biggest Struggle
I want this community to be a safe place. In order for that to happen, I have to be vulnerable as well. One of my biggest struggle as a father was accepting that my life was completely changing. I felt like I was losing the “freedom” to do whatever I wanted. Every decision could potentially impact my family and I had a hard time accepting this. Eventually I was able to make my peace with this change as I begin molding new habits and deleting old ones.
What is your mindset doing for you
I ask this as I saw a really interesting study that talks about special forces using challenges to help them have fun and not let them see things negatively. These who made the challenges bring fun, actually performed better for longer and did not have any mental health challenges. This was just with their mindset, no different training

What is everyone doing for fun
Ive had a bit of a strange day today, but one of my highlights was talking to an old friend, who just told me a rubbish joke. Its been ages since I bad joke and it got me thinking what do we all do for a little bit of fun BTW-the joke goes like this "once I read a book about glue.....I could not put it down" Share your bad jokes and what you do for fun
Grateful
Being completely vulnerable here.. Life has been hard lately. Going through some tough transitions in my life. It’s puts things in perceptive for me as you naturally tend to reflect. I believe this is a point where this will determine the type of person I truly want to be and what I value in my life. Grateful for life because there’s always two sides to a coin and it starts with my perception and mindset.
