What's your onboarding process?
I asked my community a simple question this week:
"How are you handling onboarding?"
…and the answers were really interesting 👀
Some people are:
→ sending welcome DMs
→ tagging new members
→ using templates
Others said:
→ “it’s on my list”
→ “I need to figure this out”
And one person built a full 36-page onboarding plan 😳
So here’s what I’m seeing…
Most people aren’t lacking effort.
They’re lacking a clear, simple onboarding system that actually gets people engaged fast.
Because onboarding isn’t just:
“welcome to the group 👋”
It’s the moment where someone decides:
👉 “this is worth my time”
or
👉 “I’ll check back later” (and never do)
This is something I’m going to be breaking down inside Skool Homeroom, because there’s a huge difference between having onboarding and having onboarding that works.
If you’re building a Skool community, this is one of those things that changes everything once you get it right.
If you're not in Skool Homeroom...
you're MISSING OUT
