No exercise video today but a few images of what dance can do …

In 2015 I founded an organisation called Dancers For the World that uses Dance as a tool for resilience and empowerment in areas of the world where most children are underprivileged. We became UN partner organization in 2021. The resources are very limited but with the support of some wonderful people and because there’s a lot that can be done with very little, we do move things.

I just wanted to share with you below a video that made my heart explode when I received it yesterday.

The first one is from July when I first went to Uganda to create, together with the Bulogo Womens Group on the field, this project of organising Ballet classes for 300 children of a poor rural area. For them ballet is inaccessible and reserved to rich children. In consequence it’s a pride and a form empowerment to get those weekly classes.

It has been only a few months and I am so proud of them. ❤️
