🎨 AFTER THE RELEASE
I’d like to share another original painting from my creative journey, titled After the Release.
This piece represents the space that can emerge after an emotional release—when something we have carried, sometimes consciously and sometimes subconsciously, is finally acknowledged and given permission to move.
Healing does not necessarily mean forgetting what happened.
Rather, there can come a point when the emotional charge connected with an experience begins to loosen its hold. What once occupied so much internal space can begin to transform, creating room for greater peace, clarity, freedom, and a renewed relationship with ourselves.
After the Release reflects that transition.
The layers, movement, depth, and contrasting colours within the painting represent the emotional layers we accumulate throughout our lives. Some are visible. Others remain beneath the surface. And much like our own healing journey, what appears on the surface may only reveal part of the story.
For me, painting has become another form of emotional expression—an opportunity to allow colour, texture, movement, and intuition to communicate where words sometimes cannot.
This painting also reflects an important principle within Emotional Soul Healing™:
Closure does not erase what happened—it releases the emotional charge that keeps the past
influencing the present.
And perhaps this is where a new question begins:
Who are we after the release?
When an old emotional story no longer requires the same amount of our energy, attention, or identity, we create space for something new to emerge.
Greater awareness.
Greater peace.
Greater freedom.
And perhaps, a greater expression of who we authentically are.
✨ A question for reflection:
Have you ever experienced a moment when you finally released something you had been carrying for a long time?
What changed within you afterward?
I’d love to hear what After the Release evokes or represents for you. 🎨🙏
