I just capped off one of my busiest weeks this year by performing my first luxury musician gig for a private show at a luxurious house on the lake. It was $800 for one hour of singing their playlist, but they threw an extra $300 at me to keep singing at the end of the hour and tipped me $200 after the show to bring it to $1300 total. I think it’s a good start, it gave me the confidence to start asking for higher wages. My total for six shows this week was $4.8k!

I really want to book my first gig to get the ball rolling, I'm based in Chandler AZ I play classical piano mostly Chopin pieces. I'm juggling a full time job on top of this so I'm allocating any extra energy I have into this endeavor.

What it really comes down to is sitting down, getting clear and organized on what direction to take, the actions and consistency that lead to success. I bought up my domain name, designing my website, thinking about targeting ads, business cards etc. All of this can be overwhelming while balancing full-time employment. That's why I'm here, just being in this group seeing others making progress points in the right direction and is an inspiration in itself.
