Regarding my inaccurate statistic (oops 😅), the statistics are as follows: research suggests that around 80% of dogs over 8 are suffering from Osteoarthritis, and around 35% of dogs of all ages (though I swear these have changed since I last researched it, and it was over 1 year). There's slight variations to these statistics depending on where you source your information though which is probably why I have got confused (the above is via CAM, but there's also research via the National Institute of Health). The point is - the majority of dogs we see will be suffering some form of pain so consider this when grooming 💡😅
