One piece of wisdom that’s supported me deeply these past weeks is this: regulate before you relate.
I noticed myself slipping into anxious patterns in my relationship—behaviors that didn’t align with the vision I hold for myself or for us. So I began using my morning journaling practice to self-regulate before turning on my phone and inviting in the world’s noise.
This simple shift leaves me grounded, confident, and able to show up as the man I want to be in my relationship.
