Masculine + Feminine Dynamics: How To Hold Space & Be Held.
One of the deepest longings in relationships is this: For the feminine to feel safe enough to open fully…And for the masculine to feel trusted enough to stand strong. This isn’t about roles you’re stuck in. It'ss about energies we all carry... And when these energies are honored, connection deepens. For the Masculine (Holding Space) To ā€œhold spaceā€ means being grounded and present when emotions rise. It's not about fixing. It’s not about defending. It’s about creating safety. Here's a practice for the masculine: - When she’s expressing, breathe slowly and stay grounded. - Listen without interrupting or trying to solve. - When she’s done, simply say: ā€œI hear you. I’m with you. I got you" - That’s how she knows your presence is steady, not conditional. For the Feminine (Being Held) To ā€œbe heldā€ doesn’t mean weakness..it means trust.. It's letting your heart soften instead of leading with armor. Here's a practice for the woman: - When he offers support, don’t dismiss it. Receive it. - Practice saying: ā€œThank you. That means a lot.ā€ - Allow yourself to lean back and let him lead. That’s how he knows his strength is welcomed, not wasted. That's how you plant seeds in him that confirm it's okay for him to lead you with strength, presence, and consistency. When the masculine holds space, the feminine feels safe to open. I have to learn how to be held. I have 2 memories of experiencing this in my 41 years. I've always been the space holder.... And ice always subconsciously attracted men who were too wounded to do any holding at all. That old pattern points to the wounds that existed within me. I've been deep diving into this for years now and I finally believe I'm in a place to attract a man who has the capacity (and desire) to hold me. I'm terrified of this and also I know it's what I crave and want more than any other experience that could exist for me.

Question related to a struggle: Has anyone healed so profoundly that they realize most of their actions in the past were motivated by things such as fear (of rejection, abandonment, not doing enough, not being enough, inadequacy, etc), or motivated by feelings of scarcity (need to eat and pay rent!) And then after profound healing, all motivation disappears and your nervous system will no longer operate from that old subconscious fear based motivation. It just simply will not tolerate it anymore? But then motivation for anything seems to stop?nlike there is just such a profound peace in your body that sitting and staring at the forest is all you need? And even when your bank account is in the negative, can't pay rent or buy food, you are just simply existing in a state of peace and gratitude beyond what even seems reasonable? But you just feel so loved and supported by the universe, that peace takes over your whole body, and you just have trust that the universe will provide? I recently experienced this and I'm finally coming out of this stage after a few months. The lack of motivation was also my nervous system demanding extreme deep rest after carrying so much and doing so much, relentlessly, for years and years. It also needed to a locate it's energy to reorganizing and processing some deep trauma healing.... So motivation for other things was "shit off" as a true and necessary subconscious wisdom/protection. It's been so interesting. I'm so beyond excited to see what this new and upcoming magical version of myself will be after this deep cocoon stage. šŸ¤©šŸ¦‹šŸŒ  I've noticed that human growth and expansion is like Fibonacci's ratio, and it's exponential growth.... So watch out world! This gal doesn't even know the magic that's blooming!

Hi! I joined this group a few weeks ago but never introduced myself. My IG algorithm introduced me to Justin. I'm a 41 year old woman who lives in a small home in the redwood forest. I have 2 goats who hike with me on the local trails. I have a coaching business where I help men overcome porn addiction through trauma healing. I launched it 5 years ago. I have overcome Ciguatera Neurotoxin illnesses that sent me on a 5 year healing journey and gave me the gift of spiritual awakening. Ingesting that naturally occuring seafood Neurotoxin gave me a 19 mm lesion in the left front line of my brain, PTSD, hyper-sexuality disorder, and a bunch of other awesome challenges that gave me the gift of the healing journey 🄲 I'm still learning how to shed my masculine armor through healing, so that I can exist in my full feminine essence. One of my biggest personal challenges is that men (in the dating world) find my line of work intimidating. I can see the insecurities come over their body language when they find out what I do. Some of them even tell me ther their first emotion is shame, as a response to finding out what line of work I'm in. I'm single AF and marriage has been one of my personal goals for over a decade now. It's a little embarrassing to admit, which is why I'm laying it all out there. Also, while there are tens of millions American men who are addicted to porn, my business has been painstakingly slow. .... But what I'm most proud of with the work I do is that the men who do choose to work with me, end up having their whole life transform in the most magical and remarkable ways! The other thing I'm proud of is my relentlessness to stick with it, no matter what hardships show up. Every day I have spiritual connection with my forest ravens who come visit me, the redwood trees, my daily meditation, breathwork, noticing the synchronicities, and my spiritual gifts. I've used psylocybin as a healing modality and I'm considering becoming a licensed practitioner with psychedelic assisted therapy.
A Few Ways to Find Presence Right Now
We don’t need a retreat... We don’t need a perfect morning routine... We don’t need to escape our lives. Presence is available… right here, right now... always Here are a few simple ways to step into it: 1. Go for a walk. No headphones.. No podcast..Just you and your steps... Feel your feet hit the ground. Notice the air. Let your body move... I recommend putting your feet in the earth too.. Mother earth has a beautiful way to ground us back into our body. 2. Get into nature...Sit by a tree. Watch the sky.. Listen to the wind..Nature doesn’t rush.. It reminds your nervous system that you don’t have to either... One of my favorite quotes in the Tao Te Ching is "Nature never forces, yet always accomplishes". 3. Play with your dog (or a child).They are masters of now and are perfect images of the kingdom.. No past.. No future. Just this moment...Let yourself drop into that with them and bring your little one inside of you out to play. 4. Take 5 slow breaths. In through your nose (filling up your belly)..Out through your mouth..Feel the inhale. Feel the release...Simple. Powerful. 5. Become the observer..This one changed everything for me. Notice your thoughts...Instead of saying, ā€œI am stressed,ā€ tryā€¦ā€œI’m noticing a stressful thought.ā€ Instead of being the mind, watch the mind. You are not the voice in your head. You are the one hearing it. When you step back and observe, something shifts.The energy moves.The thought passes. Space opens up. Presence isn’t something you force. It's something you allow. I have a row machine at home. It's outside and it looks into the redwood forest. I watch the ravens and jays fly around, the goats in my yard get the zoomies (yes like dogs!), and even listen to the rain (it's under an area that stays dry in the rain! I also hike in the forest with goats on a regular basis. We look for bear and elk tracks and pick edible mushrooms. I just harvested turkey tail a few days ago!

10 things that will almost always guarantee more happiness
Nothing groundbreaking or that you haven't heard before... Just the stuff we forget when life gets loud and demanding.. It's always nice to have a little refresher 😃 1ļøāƒ£ Take care of your body.. Something that has been a game changer for me is.. Sleep 8+ hours. Get 10,000+ steps in daily... Eat real food. Drink water + maldon salt.. It's hard to feel good in life when your body is exhausted. Oh and CELERY JUICE! An amazing detox to take on an empty stomach in the morning. 2ļøāƒ£ Be honest with yourself.. Even when it’s uncomfortable...Especially when it’s uncomfortable. One of the best gifts we can give ourselves is honesty about who we're being, where we're at, and where it is we want to go (and be around) 3ļøāƒ£ Let go of what you can’t control.. Most of our stress comes from fighting reality instead of meeting it.. Accept the moment as it is not how you want it to be. Byron Katie has a quote that says "when I argue with reality I lose... but only 100% of the time"... Dance with the moments. Find the lesson in ALL of it! 4ļøāƒ£ Do one thing each day you’re proud of.. This doesn’t have to be huge. In fact, it usually isn’t. Keep a promise to yourself. Finish the thing you said you would...Speak up when you normally stay quiet. Self-trust is built in these small moments… and self-trust is a direct path to happiness. Create one WIN per day that you commit to and show up to complete.. This builds trust, trust builds confidence, and confidence builds the trajectory of your life. 5ļøāƒ£ Spend time with people who feel safe to your nervous system.. The ones you don’t have to perform for..The ones who don’t rush you, fix you, or drain you...Nervous systems regulate in healthy connection...Choose relationships that feel like simple exhalation, not effort. 6ļøāƒ£ Get outside every day.. Nature is truly medicine. The earth literally heals you.. direct physical contact with the Earth's surface allows the body to absorb free-flowing, negatively charged electrons. These electrons help neutralize positively charged free radicals.. often produced by inflammation, stress, or pollution=,, which can improve sleep, reduce pain, and lower cortisol.Ā Sunlight. Fresh air. Bare feet on the ground if you can. Nature has a way of reminding us what matters and what doesn’t. Even five minutes can reset your entire state + nervous system.

Thank you for sharing these reminders! I'dd say I have most of these fairly dialed in, although my sleep has been a bit off lately. (I'm dialing it back in). And when it comes to #8, I used to create from a fear-based baseline of scarcity and "am I good enough yet" (mixed with inspiration and purpose), and now that I've healed my nervous system into a place of trust, I only create from inspiration and purpose, rather than that scarcity Type A hustle mode (trauma response to prove being good enough and to shift away from perceived scarcity!) Let me know if that makes sense! It's been a huge and healing shift for me, with how I run my coaching business and how I show up for myself in my every day life!
