There was a time when I used to push through my yoga practice…
I remember one day going to practice and something just felt off.
I was uneasy.
I couldn’t focus.
Nothing was landing.
And I walked away feeling… exactly the same. Maybe even worse.
Not because I went to yoga…
But because I didn’t practice in honour of where my body and mind actually were.
I pushed against what they were asking for.
And I think so many of us have done that…
Pushed through a workout. Pushed through a class. Pushed through when our body was clearly asking for something different.
But it’s not always about pushing.
It’s about listening.
Listening to your body.Listening to your energy.Listening to what you need in that moment.
This is something I bring into my weekly yoga classes.
A space to pause…to check in…and to move in a way that actually supports you.
