Welcome to The Flow Collective
Hello and a warm welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. The Flow Collective is a space for women to move, learn, and feel supported through the changing seasons of their bodies. Inside this community we explore things like: - Yoga and movement that supports your body’s natural rhythms - Conversations about hormones, perimenopause, and cycle awareness - Education to help you better understand your body - Workshops, open houses and gatherings - Intuitive guidance - A supportive community of women navigating similar experiences This is a place where we can slow down, reconnect with our bodies, and support each other along the way. I created the Flow Collective because so many women are navigating these changes alone, and we deserve spaces where we can talk openly, learn, and support one another. I’m so happy you’re here. Take a moment to say hello below and introduce yourself to the community! Where are you joining us from? Why The Flow Collective?

3 Interesting Facts About Female Genitalia
1. The clitoris has more than 10,000 nerve fibres. Yes... that's why it feels so good. 😉 2. The vulva and vagina are NOT interchangeable. The vulva is the external genitalia. The vagina is internal. (Have a look at last week's post for more on this!) 3. There is no such thing as a “normal-looking” vulva. Vulvas come in different shapes, sizes, colours and appearances. She is as unique as the woman she belongs to is. Love her. 💜
3 Interesting Facts About Female Genitalia
Boys have a penis and girls have a vagina
Common knowledge, right? Well… what if I told you that statement isn't actually anatomically correct? Yes, boys have a penis, and yes, girls have a vagina — but the part of the female genitals that we can actually see and often refer to as “the vagina” is the vulva. The vagina is internal. The vulva is the external genital area and includes the labia, clitoris, vaginal opening and more. It's pretty frustrating when you think about how many of us grew up without ever being taught the proper names for our own anatomy. And personally, I love the word vulva. I actually think it's quite beautiful. 💜 Have a look at this reel from Annie Wolf, founder of Girls Club Global, as she asks a group of young girls: “What do you think the vagina is?” This is a reminder of why body literacy matters — and why teaching girls the correct language for their bodies matters too. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Db_zAUmREeB/?stkn=MXB2cTh4aWN3Zm56

Boys have a penis and girls have a vagina
Hello everyone! A little update!
I know things have been a little scattered in here lately, and I know a few months ago I posted something similar. But in all honesty... I was moving slow this summer. I wasn't rushing or forcing anything. I was just moving slowly, letting things flow naturally and allowing things to unfold as they were meant to. However, my slowness was actually extremely productive, and I have been quietly creating a lot in the background. First things first — we will be getting back to our regular weekly schedule next week. 💜 But I also wanted to give you a little heads-up because over the next few months, you're going to start seeing a transformation happening here inside The Flow Collective. And there's a pretty big reason why... ✨ The Flow Collective is going to be hosting The Embodied Woman Summit! ✨ And of course, you are all invited. I am SO excited about this. Maybe a little overwhelmed 😂 and there are definitely moments when I question my decision to create and host an entire summit... but mostly, I am incredibly excited about what is coming together. I'm not going to share too much just yet. But over the next couple of months, you're going to start noticing things happening around here. New additions to the calendar. New things appearing in the classroom. New members joining us. Even our banner is going to get a little transformation. Things may look a little different around here for a while as everything starts coming together, and as it all unfolds, I'll be sharing updates and letting you know what's happening. There is a LOT happening behind the scenes... And I'm really excited to finally start bringing you along for it. 💜
