Celebrating a milestone today!

I just needed to share this in a place where people would understand why I’m so excited. 😂

I started my little cottage bakery 8 months ago, and I never expected to see over $6K in sales this soon.

I know that's not a huge number in the business world, but for one person baking, decorating, answering messages, ordering supplies, packaging everything, doing pickups, marketing, etc… all from home while still doing the rest of life, I’m really proud of this. 🥹

I’m definitely learning where my physical capacity is as a one-woman business, and I’m still a ways from maxing it out. But it’s also made me start thinking differently about what growth could look like. I don’t necessarily want “more orders” to always be the answer.

My next goal is learning how to build a more passive/scalable income stream within the same cookie world so that growth doesn’t always require more hours standing in my kitchen.

Anyway… I’m just really excited! Eight months ago I had no idea if people would even buy my baked goods or attend my cookie decorating classes. And now I’m looking at this thinking, "okay… maybe this really can become something." Cheers to growth and curiosity in business! 🎊🎉🌱
