These are some of the pumpkins we carved last year, and I'm really looking forward to continuing our annual family tradition again this year. It's such a simple thing. A pumpkin costs a couple of quid. You sit around the table together, carve out some ridiculous faces, laugh at each other's efforts and, more importantly, talk. About your day. Your week. Your year. What's going well, what's not, and what's happening in each other's lives. It's fun, it's therapeutic, and it's a wonderful way to reconnect. There are thousands of designs on Instagram, YouTube and across the internet if you need a little inspiration. But here's my real point. Not every day needs to be about business, profit, growth or productivity. Sometimes the most valuable, powerful and productive thing you can do is switch everything else off and spend a couple of hours being together. No agenda. No targets. No deadlines. Just family, laughter, conversation and a few pumpkins. Because ultimately, it's often the simplest traditions that become the strongest cement holding families or teams together. So why not grab a few pumpkins this weekend and make some memories? You might find those couple of hours are worth more than anything else you could have achieved today. Happy Halloween! 🎃

Sobering thought

One and a half days left of October. What are YOU going to do to make this month count? Too many people write off a day, a week, a month or even an entire year simply because most of it has already passed. They start strong, full of ambition and determination. But then: - The first rejection knocks them back. - The first obstacle becomes an excuse. - The first disappointment becomes a reason to stop. - And before long, they're promising themselves they'll start again next month. Winners don't stop because the finish line is getting closer. They push HARDER. It's not over till the fat lady sings. It's not over till I win.
