Cleat positioning for asymmetrical legs and feet length

Hi everyone,

I have an asymmetry issue: my right leg is 3-4mm shorter and my right foot is 6mm shorter than the left.

Regarding fore/aft adjustment, should my cleats be symmetrical relative to the shoes, or asymmetrical, aligning them individually based on each foot's metatarsal heads?

I've been tweaking my setup like crazy, but right now I'm wasting more energy stressing over my position than actually pushing the pedals.

Any advice?
