One size fits one moments
Let me know your thoughts on the video below. The name of this group and my business, The Unreasonable Life, was inspired by the book unreasonable hospitality. The unreasonable life Is about being unreasonable in the pursuit of excellence, in the pursuit of care for your clients, and in the pursuit of the life that you want to create. The book Unreasonable hospitality is required reading for all my coaching clients. The book talks about creating these one size fits one moments for customers whenever possible. How customer service is really the bare minimum of business should do. But when we slow down enough to pay attention, and take action on the ideas that come to us…we can truly create a magical moment for people that they will never forget. This video is an amazing example of how a business can create a one size fits one moments. And now look at the impact of simple gesture of listening 👂 to what someone said they love…and then taking action on the idea that came to them.

Uplevel your service
What have you done or thought about doing, that would create a better experience for your customers or add value in someway either free or paid? Let’s collaborate on things that improve our service, or improve our revenue while serving the client better.
Work Diligently and be excellent in your craft.
“Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.” – Proverbs 22:29 He will stand before Kings!! Serving with excellence is a form of worship. There is nobility in doing even ordinary work with extraordinary faithfulness. The Lord was with Joseph… and made all he did prosper.” (Genesis 39:2–3) He didn’t wait for a perfect job to give perfect effort. His faithfulness in small things opened doors to lead a nation. • Continuously improve your skills and expertise. • Provide excellent customer service—people notice quality. • Develop a strong work ethic, knowing your efforts are seen by God. Whatever role you’re in—therapist, manager, cleaner, leader—bring your best. Excellence is noticed by people, but it’s rewarded by God, in this life or the next.

It’s not worth my time
There’s a girl on TikTok, doing a series called the language of the poor. She went over the phrase “ it’s not worth my time” This is one that really resonates because in business I see a lot of people who need money right they need it bad… but then they follow that up with. I’m not working for _________. Fill in the blank for less money, for discounts, for $30 $50 $100. Could be anything. One girl that used the rent for me was in desperate need of money had a Groupon up for sale for a 90 minute massage for $120 and came to me angry because Groupon was discounting it further to 100 and somebody called and asked if they could just give her the hundred dollars. And she was so mad that they were asking for a discount. I Simply asked her…” do you need the money?, Like could you use $100?” Without even thinking, she said “absolutely I need it really bad.” I said then “why would you be angry that somebody’s willing to give you $100?” I said “ do you have someone else who could take the spot she wants that would give you full price” ? She said “no” I said, “would you rather take zero for that 90 minutes or would you rather get $100 for that 90 minutes”? Of course, every situation is different. As you get busier, there are some things that aren’t worth your time but when you’re desperate or you’re not even Close to your goal. Now is not the time to be proud. For sure do everything you can to make as much money as you possibly can to get people in it full price or your membership or package price. Market yourself… all of the things. But don’t step over $100 to take $0
