From The Village to Raised By A Village “It takes a village to raise a child. And it takes a village to raise the kind of adults the world needs most.” ✨ Why we exist Raised By A Village was born from one honest, life‑changing question: Am I teaching my child to think for themselves — or only to obey? For generations, most of us were raised the second way: follow the rules, do as you’re told, don’t ask too many questions, stick to the safe path, and never rock the boat. We were taught compliance is the same thing as goodness. And as a result, many of us grew up to be adults who still wait for permission, who fear being different, who struggle to make big decisions, and who quietly wonder: Is this really all there is? We realised something important: Obedience keeps a small child safe. But only independent thinking will carry them through a whole life. We also realised something else heavy: Modern life has stolen our village. We’ve been sold a lie that parenting and building a good life is a solo job — that you have to know everything, do everything, be perfect, and struggle in silence. That if you ask for help, you’re failing. That you should only ever listen to the voices inside your own four walls. That is not how humans were designed to live. For thousands of years, children were guided, loved, corrected and taught by many good adults. Parents were supported, not burnt out. Values were shared, not forced. And wisdom was passed around, not hoarded. Raised By A Village is here to bring that back — but better. We are rebuilding the village for this generation: intentional, thoughtful, inclusive, and unashamed of wanting more than “normal”. We are the alternative to isolation, to judgment, to blindly following a life script someone else wrote, and to raising children who can follow rules but cannot lead themselves.

Why We Keep The Village Neutral: No Religious or Controversial Content
Our goal for The Village is simple: to create a safe, welcoming space where everyone feels they belong, can learn, share, and grow together without division. Here’s why we choose to avoid religious and controversial topics: ✅ Inclusion First People come from all kinds of backgrounds — different beliefs, cultures, values, and life experiences. When we stay neutral, we ensure no one feels excluded, judged, or uncomfortable because of what they do or don’t believe. We want the focus to be on what unites us, not what divides us. ✅ Keep the Focus Clear Our content is about mindset, practical skills, personal growth, earning extra income, and building better habits. Religious or controversial subjects can easily shift conversations away from these goals and lead to debates, misunderstandings, or tension that stops progress. We want every discussion to move us forward, not sideways. ✅ Respect for Differences We deeply respect everyone’s personal beliefs, opinions, and values — they are part of what makes each person unique. But these are private matters best explored in spaces designed specifically for them. In The Village, we keep our shared ground broad enough to hold us all, while honoring that each person’s inner journey is their own. ✅ Prevent Unnecessary Conflict Topics like religion, politics, and other highly debated issues often come with strong feelings and differing worldviews. Even with good intentions, they can create friction that makes it hard for people to connect openly. Staying neutral removes that risk and keeps the environment supportive and constructive. In short: “We keep things neutral so The Village stays a place where everyone is welcome, everyone is heard, and everyone can focus on becoming more, doing more, and earning more — together.”

My Sister
I spent the past week at the hospice helping to care for my sister, Tania. It isn't easy watching someone you love slowly lose the strength they once had. My sister has always been a fighter. Even when she was young, she wasn't afraid to stand up to people twice her size or age. As she got older, that never changed. Fear simply wasn't part of who she was. She faced life head-on with incredible courage. Today, it's heartbreaking to see how much this rare and aggressive cancer, leiomyosarcoma, has taken from her. Walking just a short distance to the bathroom takes everything she has. After a shower, she's completely exhausted, struggling to catch her breath, relying on morphine and an inhaler just to ease the pain and discomfort. Seeing someone so strong become so physically weak is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. That's why I created our Skool community, Hope for Tania. My goal is to raise funds for the Incurables Programme, which was recommended to me by Liam Gallagher from the Fundamental Living Academy community after his own positive experience. We're realistic. There are no guarantees this programme will heal my sister. But when you've run out of conventional options, hope becomes something worth fighting for. If you're able to help, I'd be deeply grateful if you could support our fundraising, share our Givealittle page, Hope for Tania, or simply tell others about our journey. Every donation, every share, and every prayer gives us another chance to keep fighting for her. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, your compassion, and your support.
