Beyond Closing Series: Ep 1 is happening in 6 days
Let's chat about nicheessss
In my 1:1 mentoring sessions, one thing keeps coming up — the foundation. Before anything else, you need to know your niche! Here's a quick exercise to get your brain turning........ Grab a piece of paper and write about yourself. What are your hobbies? What topics genuinely excite you? Go past the obvious stuff — family, pets — and think about what actually lights you up. Health? Divorce recovery? Business and money? Beauty? Dating? Side hustles? The list is endless, and none of those niches is "better" than another. Sales is a numbers game. When your client has a great offer and solid infrastructure behind it, you WILL make money. (And yes — I have trainings coming that break down exactly how to evaluate both.) Here's the thing: when you work in a niche that excites you, you sell better. You connect with prospects in a real way. Your client can feel that you actually get their audience — and that's why they'll hire you over someone else. Once you know your niche, use a tool like Claude.ai to find coaches and businesses in that space. Start making connections. Go straight to the owners. This is the very first thing you need to sit down and figure out — what lights you up. If nothing comes to mind, that's okay, give it time and think about it. Drop your niches in the comments. I want to help connect you with businesses that are the right fit for you/market yourself better to that niche with your LinkedIn profile/Loom pitch video etc

Tone is EVERYTHING in sales
Your tone is closing deals before your words ever get the chance. Slow it down. Lower your voice. Remove the urgency. Calm authority builds trust faster than excitement ever will. If you shifted your tone today, how would your conversations change?
Lead Qualification Isn’t Optional — It’s Everything (Especially on Commission)
This is on my heart lately......sooooo def give this a read....... If you’re working on commission, lead quality is not a “nice to have.” It’s the difference between making money and wasting your time. Not all leads are created equal — and just because someone “raised their hand” doesn’t mean they’re actually ready to buy. A real, qualified lead should: • Be actively struggling with a problem • Be the decision-maker • Have the financial ability to invest • Be ready and willing to take action If those pieces aren’t there, you’re not stepping into a sales call — you’re stepping into a conversation with someone who’s just exploring. And here’s the hard truth: Explorers don’t convert. What often happens (especially with paid ads) is this: Calendars get filled with volume, not intent. On paper, it looks great — 20 calls a week. In reality? Low-quality conversations, low conversions, and a whole lot of wasted time. Those leads aren’t useless — they just belong in a different environment (like a webinar or nurture funnel), not on your calendar as a closer. When you’re vetting a client — coach, consultant, or agency — ask better questions upfront: • How are you qualifying your leads? • What criteria are used before they book a call? • What’s your actual conversion data? Because more calls doesn’t equal more money. Four highly qualified calls where you close 80% will always outperform 20 unqualified calls that go nowhere. And if a client insists on sending volume without proper qualification? That’s a different agreement. It’s completely reasonable to say: “I’m happy to take these — but that requires a base.” Your time is your asset. Protect it. At the end of the day, this isn’t just about better leads — it’s about better partnerships, clear expectations, and being in a position where your effort actually pays off. More on this soon — because this one matters more than most people realize. I plan on doing a FULL training on this and setting you up for SUCCESS!
