In my 1:1 mentoring sessions, one thing keeps coming up — the foundation. Before anything else, you need to know your niche!
Here's a quick exercise to get your brain turning........
Grab a piece of paper and write about yourself. What are your hobbies? What topics genuinely excite you? Go past the obvious stuff — family, pets — and think about what actually lights you up. Health? Divorce recovery? Business and money? Beauty? Dating? Side hustles? The list is endless, and none of those niches is "better" than another. Sales is a numbers game. When your client has a great offer and solid infrastructure behind it, you WILL make money. (And yes — I have trainings coming that break down exactly how to evaluate both.)
Here's the thing: when you work in a niche that excites you, you sell better. You connect with prospects in a real way. Your client can feel that you actually get their audience — and that's why they'll hire you over someone else.
Once you know your niche, use a tool like Claude.ai to find coaches and businesses in that space. Start making connections. Go straight to the owners. This is the very first thing you need to sit down and figure out — what lights you up. If nothing comes to mind, that's okay, give it time and think about it.
Drop your niches in the comments. I want to help connect you with businesses that are the right fit for you/market yourself better to that niche with your LinkedIn profile/Loom pitch video etc
