Hey everyone — I wanted to share something with the group that has nothing to do with a deal. My wife and I just welcomed a baby boy into the world. Everybody's healthy, everybody's happy. Holding him reinforced the "why" of real estate for me. It's not just "I need to provide for this kid," but "I need to build something I can actually hand down to him." Something that outlasts me. For me real estate isn't just a way to make money or hit a number. It's the most tangible thing I can build and pass on. A portfolio, the knowledge, the relationships, the systems — all of it can become his head start instead of something he has to figure out from zero like most of us did. So if anything, this little guy just turned the volume way up on why I'm doing this. For those of you building for your own families — kids, parents, whoever you're doing this for — I see you. That "why" is the thing that keeps you going when a deal falls through or the cold calls aren't landing. Hold onto it. And for all you parents out there, you got this! Back to your regularly scheduled real estate content soon. For now, I'm going to go stare at my son a little more :). — Gabe
