Just wanted to share some love for a favorite, but fairly unknown band, Sour Widows. I'm seeing them tonight for the 3rd time at Black Lodge in Seattle. They're opening for MX Lonely. A friend once referred to this kind of music as "sad music for sad people" which seems fitting. But it's beautiful, and intense live. This is almost two songs in one, but it builds and builds to a powerful crescendo, and then I'm not sad anymore.
