Nymphlord debut lp
The debut album from L.A. based Nymphlord (Tia Rabinovitz) was released a couple of days ago on Lauren Records. I've been waiting for this one for a while and it doesn't disappoint. Still obsessed with the first single from this album, Garden. The whole album is fantastic, though, and well worth a listen.

@Robert Erbes She's one of those artists that I always feel should be heard by much more than are currently finding her. Stinks 4 Lyfe was my intro to her 3 years ago and it's still a bange
New Black Ends - All I'm Bone
New single from Seattle's Black Ends this morning. Their first with Tom Scully joining the band on lead guitar insane. On repeat for me today. Grungy. Gunk pop.

New Josaleigh Pollett & Crowd Shy
Josaleigh Pollett has been a favorite for a while (and a great source of new music to listen to-I follow her Brosaleigh playlist on Apple Music which is updated weekly). Here new album is coming out July 24th and this is the first single off of it, and it is stellar

@Jeff McMillen Yay! I hope more people discover them and go to this show.
JC SuperStar in Seattle
Did anyone else see Jesus Christ Superstart @ the 5th Ave Theater? I saw it twice - once on "Fan Night" sporting my ThunderPussy t-shirt, and then again last Friday. What a great show! If you're a real fan - go see the "Rising Star Project" version starring high school age kids next weekend. I'll be out of town, or I'd go.

I saw it mid-run and it was fantastic. Molly seriously stole the show with her performance but everyone was great. A really fun time seeing Cameron in a totally different role than fronting King Youngblood.
If you could only listen to music that was local to your city/region, where would you live?
Having grown up in Seattle, it would be tough to not go in that direction, but I could also be happy eating bbq in Austin just listening to Spoon and The Black Angels.

100% still in Seattle area, but aside from my hometown, I'd probably go with Philadelphia, Washington DC, Boston, NYC, and L.A. for rounding out the top 5. But that would kill me to leave Austin and London off the list.

That "pit dad" up front at the show. 40+ years of live PNW music and still going strong. I want to tell you about this band I saw...
