When No One Is Clapping?? Do It Anyway
How do you know when you’re making an identity choice??
When you show up in your identity even when there is no reward.
i started this YT channel 3 years ago because i wanted to talk about the spiritual journey of entrepreneurship, voice, identity, and being paid to speak vs what I usually talk about.
But I abandoned it because it wasn’t giving me dopamine hits. I had Low views & Low engagement.
I decided to revive it because I’m making an identity choice.
I spent 3 days on this video. 😓😓😓
Idea. Structure. Editing. Learning new software.
I did all of that KNOWING it will likely get very low views—possibly zero—in the first 24 hours.
I posted it anyway.
I am who I say I am now. Views or not.
So This is what identity alignment looks like:
• Choosing the timeline, not the outcome
• Acting without needing a reward
• Creating even when no one is watching (*very important)
• Letting the identity come first
That’s the work.
