Welcome to LOVED Well Society
Hi. I’m Christal. And I didn’t create this space because I have all the answers. I created it because I’ve lived the questions. A few years ago, I walked through divorce. Not just legally, but also the identity-shaking, self-trust-testing, “who even am I now?” kind. I had to learn how to let go with dignity. How to stop ignoring red flags. How to trust my intuition again. How to date without abandoning myself. How to believe I could still build healthy, secure love. And I realized something: There are so many high-functioning, emotionally aware adults rebuilding their lives after divorce… but we don’t always have spaces that match our maturity. This is not a chaos circle. This is not a venting room. This is not man-bashing or bitterness. This is a recalibration space. Inside The LOVED Well Society, we focus on: • Healing with dignity • Owning our standards • Dating wisely • Building secure, emotionally safe relationships We’re not desperate for love here. We’re intentional about it. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to be fully healed. You just have to be willing to grow. If you’re rebuilding, re-entering the dating world, or refusing to repeat old patterns… You’re home. Now introduce yourself below: Where are you in your journey right now?

LIVESTREAM POSTPONED
Hey everyone, i’m going to push the live stream to Wednesday evening. I had a death in the family today and I’m just not fully present. I hope you all have a wonderful start to your week and I will talk to you on Wednesday. ❤️❤️
Happy birthday to me! 🥳
I really just turned 25 today. I'm a quarter of a century old. Like what??????? I guarantee none of you know my story, but I figured that it's my birthday today, and we're also on the last day of Disability Pride Month, I'd tell y'all about myself. I was born with spina bifida. In case you don't know what that condition is, when my mom was pregnant with me early on, my spinal canal and backbone could not close properly leaving an exposed sac of fluid in my lower back, which led me using a wheelchair still to this day as well as a whole plethora of other conditions such as latex allergies and hydrocephalus (accumulation of fluid in the brain). Although I have had so many surgeries (I would say close to 50), I'm 100% sure the surgeries for the brain fluid contributed to my mental health struggles. I say all of that to say I never thought I'd be here 25 years later. I don't remember what it was for at the time, but my mom always reminds me of that one time I was in the hospital when I was about 3 years old and she was crying feeling so scared about me, but I just told her, "God's got me." Every hospital stay before and after that, God always came through for me. 25 years later, I'm still here. I may have my anxious thoughts at times especially when it comes to being so hyperfixated on certain outcomes (@Christal Luster I know you already know where I'm going with that) and my disability in that regard makes life very challenging, but I am not in denial of the fact that I know I have God who is way bigger. Despite my disability, I am chosen by God. I've played challenger league baseball for about 10 years, I worked a summer job as a disability advocate, and at my church called Triumph Church, I'm a member of the young adult choir called New G (ages 18-35). We've been serving in Detroit a lot lately, and we're now continuing to do it just at the two locations in the Flint area (2130 S Center Rd, Burton, MI 48519) (1657 Broadway Blvd, Flint, MI 48506). I may not be where I wanna be, but I know it's not the end. I am not shrinking to fit in. Disabled or not, I am somebody. I am who God says I am.
