Hi. I’m Christal. And I didn’t create this space because I have all the answers. I created it because I’ve lived the questions. A few years ago, I walked through divorce. Not just legally, but also the identity-shaking, self-trust-testing, ā€œwho even am I now?ā€ kind. I had to learn how to let go with dignity. How to stop ignoring red flags. How to trust my intuition again. How to date without abandoning myself. How to believe I could still build healthy, secure love. And I realized something: There are so many high-functioning, emotionally aware adults rebuilding their lives after divorce… but we don’t always have spaces that match our maturity. This is not a chaos circle. This is not a venting room. This is not man-bashing or bitterness. This is a recalibration space. Inside The LOVED Well Society, we focus on: • Healing with dignity • Owning our standards • Dating wisely • Building secure, emotionally safe relationships We’re not desperate for love here. We’re intentional about it. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to be fully healed. You just have to be willing to grow. New Recipe: Sable Bourbon Peach Glazed Chicken + Spiked Peach Tea
šŸ— Sable Bourbon Peach Glazed Drumsticks + Peach Bourbon Sweet Tea A beginner-friendly summer grill recipe that feels elevated without being complicated. For the Drumsticks Ingredients - 3–4 lbs chicken drumsticks - 1 tbsp olive oil - 1 tsp salt - 1 tsp black pepper - 1 tsp garlic powder - 1 tsp smoked paprika Peach Bourbon Glaze - 1 can peaches in juice, drained (reserve 1–2 tbsp juice) - ¼ cup bourbon - 2 tbsp peach preserves - 3 tbsp brown sugar - 1 tbsp Dijon mustard - 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar - 1–2 tbsp peach juice - Pinch cinnamon - Pinch cayenne (optional) Directions 1. Make the glaze In a saucepan, combine: - peaches - bourbon - peach preserves - brown sugar - Dijon - apple cider vinegar - peach juice - cinnamon Simmer for 10–15 minutes. Mash peaches with a fork until mostly broken down. Cook until thick and glossy. Set aside. 2. Season the chicken Toss drumsticks with: - olive oil - salt - pepper - garlic powder - smoked paprika 3. Bake first Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake drumsticks on a sheet pan for 25–30 minutes. This helps ensure the chicken is cooked through before finishing on the grill. 4. Finish on the grill Preheat grill to 375–400°F. (If using wood chips, place them in foil, poke holes, and set on grill.) Grill drumsticks: - 3–4 minutes on one side - Flip - 3–4 minutes on the other side Then glaze: Brush glaze on both sides, flipping every 2–3 minutes. Repeat 2–3 times until sticky and caramelized. Internal temp should be 175–185°F. 🄃 Peach Bourbon Sweet Tea Ingredients - 1 cup black tea, chilled - 1½–2 oz bourbon - 1–2 tbsp peach juice (from canned peaches) - Ice - Peach slice for garnish (optional) Directions 1. Brew tea and let cool. 2. Fill glass with ice. 3. Add bourbon. 4. Add peach juice. 5. Top with tea. 6. Stir and enjoy. Optional: garnish with peach slices or rosemary. Suggested sides: - Rosemary roasted potatoes - Garlic sautĆ©ed spinach Simple, flavorful, and perfect for summer.
