Welcome to the JOOY YOGA Online Community
Hi, I’m Joy – yoga teacher, former overworked PA, and a bit of a travel nerd. This space is for busy humans who want yoga and wellbeing to feel realistic – something that fits around work, life and (if you’re like me) planning the next wellness trip. Here you’ll find: - Updates on my online series and in-person classes - Gentle prompts to support your home practice - The odd mindful travel / “smart booking” tip from my travel business You don’t need to be flexible or “good at yoga” to be here – just curious New here? Start with this: - Free 7-day mini-course – Start Slow: A 7-Day Journey into Yoga👉 - Want something deeper? My Summer Online Series (4-week drip course) is ready to buy and you can catch up in your own time – look for it in the Classroom area. - More about me, my yoga classes here + travel work here Say hello in the comments if you’d like: 1. Where are you based? 2. What do you want more of right now – calm, strength, routine, or adventure? 3. Are you more “homebody on the mat” or “yogi who’s always planning the next trip”? Glad you’ve found your way here. 🥰

Week 8 is LIVE - Flow to Yin Integration
Can you believe it — we’ve reached Week 8.A genuine congratulations to you for showing up for yourself and keeping your practice flowing through the dreary winter season. That’s no small thing. This final class is all about integration — stitching together familiar movements and holds from across the series to create one last nourishing practice. I filmed this while I was in Bangkok, so you may notice a little background noise here and there (Bangkok is… not quiet 😅). Despite that, this version felt the most aligned with the overall energy of the series. You’re very welcome to turn my voice down, add your own music, or even just listen rather than watch if that feels better. I’ll also be re-filming this class once I’m back, so you’ll have the option of a more polished studio version to practice from in future if you’d like. Take this one at your own pace. There’s no rush — let it land. I’d genuinely love to hear how this class, and the series as a whole, has felt for you 💛

Week 7 is live – Balance & Steady (Strong) Legs💫
Week 7 has just landed in the classroom – this one’s all about balance and steady legs. Think simple standing work, wobble-friendly balances and a chance to feel a bit more grounded again, rather than “nailing” any pose. I’m sending this from Koh Lipe, which feels fitting – lots of finding my own balance between work, rest and travel right now. You’ll find it as:👉 Week 7 – Balance & Steady Legs Remember: - Wobbles are welcome – use a wall or chair if you need - 100% us a block as a prop - You don’t need to be “caught up” to do this one - You have lifetime access, so just start from where you are today When you’ve tried it, pop a quick line underneath and let me know how it felt. 💛

Week 6 is live – Shoulder Opening Flow 💫
Good morning from Bangkok 👋🏽 This one is all about opening the chest, shoulders and upper back. Think: a steady, feel-good flow to undo laptop shoulders, winter hunching and “scroll neck”. It’s around 40 minutes and was filmed in London, so you’ll recognise the location! Perfect if you’ve been carrying tension or feeling a bit closed in from being back at your desks, carrying your babies or sitting on your phone too long. You’ll find it in the classroom as: 👉 Week 6 – Shoulder Opening Flow I’d love to know how it feels for you – especially compared to Week 3’s Yin-style upper body release. Drop a quick line underneath once you’ve tried it. And a little reminder while I’m away: 🔹 In-person classes for February are now live to book on my website – so if you’re missing being in the room together, you can start planning your return to the mat with me . Missing you all – keep moving with me from home. 💛

Week 5 is LIVE - Reawaken Flow
Happy New Year! Week 5 has just dropped in the classroom: a slow, New Year flow to help you wake your body up again without going too hard, too fast. Admittedly, I filmed this in Namibia and the pace was slightly faster than planned as the rain clouds were looking a little omonous - you will see - so any point you need a rest, just press pause! (One benefit of having me on the tv and not in real life) We’re out of the Christmas bubble now, and this is where consistency really counts – especially if you want to feel ready for in-person classes again in February. Think of this week as a gentle “I’m back” to your body: steady standing work, simple balance, nothing fancy, just time on the mat. I’m writing this from Chiang Mai, Thailand (very grateful too see my family for the first time in 3 years or more), but your classes are still rolling out as planned. If you practice this one today or over the next few days, I’d love to hear: – How did it feel compared to the earlier weeks? – Do you notice anything different in your balance or energy? Pop a quick check-in underneath once you’ve tried it – or just say hi! x
