Behind on your goals?
Well, it's the last weekend of the month and come Monday we'll be starting the 2nd half so here's my recommendation before Monday hits... If you are BEHIND on your goals DO something this weekend to catch up... do you really deserve time off if you've already been taking time off?

Consistency is more important than perfection.
If you consistently do good things, the small, monotonous activities will slowly build a mountain of success. The key words here are "consistently": doing it all the time... and "eventually". You won't see much effect from your discipline of doing positive things every day at the start, the first few weeks, months and even years for the massive growth. It's the consistent reps that you put in, the follow up calls, small tasks you do every day that create the foundation to build a castle on. The bigger your dreams and goals are, the larger and deeper the foundation must be. Don't give up too soon. This can be seen in the power law shapes of the curve. At the start, nothing much will happen, the line is relatively flat. If you persistently pushing it in the right direction, hopefully there will be an exponential cut off point on the curve where things will gain momentum and your life will roll a way the way that you wanted. Which way it rolls depends on which way you have pushed all these years :-).

Consistency is more important than perfection.
Here’s an important concept that we all need to be aware of
The work we’re doing now shows up in 90-120 days. It’s a "tough" market, though, so it might be six months before you see real momentum. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise, because they are lying. The success I have in my business now has came from beginning of last year out of cold outbound prospecting and years of relationship nurtures. It is the long game. Everybody wants to put on an image and portray themselves as more successful than they really are. Not to impress you, but more-so to convince themselves in delusion. Don't be this person. What you should be doing right now: #1 - Talking to new 5-10 new people every day, getting permission to be their realtor of choice. #2- Strengthening your existing relationships and going deep with your sphere of influence. Building a referral based business should be your long term goal... because let's face it... chasing business forever SUCKS. The most valuable thing in a company is its existing book of business. #3 - Sharpening your skillsets like your life depends on it. Because it does. Survival of the fittest. Statistics for you: - 39% of sellers who used a real estate agent found their agents through a referral by friends or family, and 26% used the agent they previously worked with to buy or sell a home. - 89% of buyers purchased their home through a real estate agent or broker. - Buyers who would use their agent again or recommend their agent to others: 90% We are professional problem solvers and customer service experts. If you don't conduct yourself in that manner and think of yourself in that fashion, you will not last in this new market. Business owners don't do business building activities "when they feel like it" or blame their lack of success on the market, the economy or compare themselves to others. Get your shit together and take ownership of your life. Building your audience—your database. You have to talk with them, get to know who they are, what they want, what they need, what their expectations are.
