Ahoy - here's to The Impossible idea
Hey all - I've been heads down producing CES, NRF and Davos - just now catching my breath and on a train up to NYC for the day. So much to reflect on as it relates to what happened in 2025, where we are as a society in 2026, and what it means for those of us who dare to dream big and make huge strides towards all of our goals. All of the events I've just produced delivered pieces of the puzzle for me and perhaps the biggest takeaway is that I've spent much of the past fifteen years weaving a tapestry of relationships that have all led to this moment. Everything I want to achieve is right in front of me and the players I need to participate are just waiting for the signal. I look forward to jumping in with you and sharing more about the journey. Here are some definitive decisions I've made. I own Modev.com, Developers.AI (pre-launch), Ecosystem Partners which houses my consulting practice and The Tech Ecosystem Institute. And I've formed a holding company Unstacked Technologies - which is a Delaware C Corp to house these three entities. -- At Modev, we've let go of producing our own stand alone conferences. No more multi-day events with a blend of EXPO and programming. This is an old business and private equity driven concentration has changed the landscape such that the industry is driving to larger events, thousands of booths and a pure numbers game. So I'll be focusing Modev on smaller niche events like AI House, AGENTIC AI Davos and instead of GovAI Summit - we'll do highly focused side events and webinars to support public sector. Multi-day conferences take an incredible amount of planning and by letting these go, it allows us to partner with a few industry leaders and create high touch, high quality experiences. Ecosystem Partners has signed two consulting clients and our goal is to get to ten core clients in 2026 - several deals in the works. The Tech Ecosystem Institute will launch an analysis tool in Q2 that will allow any organization to measure the health of their tech ecosystem. This will be a lead capture tool for the consulting practice.
Happy and Prosperous New Year!
All best to this community!

A Funny Thing Happened....
I launched this community November 17th. The idea for a space where Impossible Ideas become inevitable is something I wanted for myself, but thought it would be great for others as well. I mean, who doesn't want to make our impossible ideas come true? What I learned right away is that there's a thirst for this kind of community. Making impossible ideas come to life isn't about hard work, it's about identity shift. I've been desperate to shift my identity away from event organizer and towards a global transformational leader. In the past two weeks, everything has shifted for 2026. Here's what's up. --> Headed to Davos 2026 to organize AGENTIC AI Davos - a space for global AI transformation and the leaders who are leading major industry shifts. --> Signed two consulting clients under Ecosystem Partners, my new idea for helping leaders build strong tech ecosystems by forging new relationships that matter. --> Changed what I'm focusing on to align with the new identity- CES AI House is not an event, it's a launch pad. The National Retail Federation Agentic AI Stages we're managing in NYC right after CES are not venues, they are a wealth of connections to drive the new business. Davos is not a summit, it's a base camp. It's all hit this week, which is why I haven't been as active here as I'd like. But I wanted to share that The Impossible Community is what I was looking for. Thanks for being here! Stay tuned for a weekly prompt tomorrow! Pete
Digital Appearances
Personally speaking, I've always been careful of how I present myself on social media. I tend not to reveal too much about my personal life or celebrate milestones/achievements as they relate to relationships, mental & physical health status, or my career. Politics, on the other hand, well, guilty as charged. Digital identities can be misconstrued, maligned, targeted, misinterpreted, criticized, etc and I'd rather not subject myself or my loved ones to any of that. That said, it hasn't always been that way. I had to learn my lesson and that took time. I had to put in the work. I have to continue to put in the work and practice humility. Going full analog with pen to paper has helped tremendously in this regard. Good ol' fashioned journaling/diary entries along with a gratitude list. Meditation with a twist. Do it!
