Weekly Prompt: Setting Intentions for 2026
Hey all - great call today and some awesome intentions being set for 2026. Weekly Prompt 12/8/25: What is the single intention you are willing to hold as the organizing force for your 2026? Intentions are not goals. They are directional commitments. They define: - how you show up, - what you no longer tolerate, - and the way you choose to move through your year. This is not a wishlist. It’s a line in the sand. Examples of intentions (for context, not adoption): - “I have clarity about my goals.” - “I wear my ambition proudly.” - “I lead with unapologetic momentum.” Your turn. Name the intention that will govern how you think, act, and decide in 2026. Once it’s named, the year begins to align around it. This community is being designed as a resource for supporting you on your journey to making big things happen- the biggest of which will be shifting your identity to align with those impossible goals. Pete
Digital Appearances
Personally speaking, I've always been careful of how I present myself on social media. I tend not to reveal too much about my personal life or celebrate milestones/achievements as they relate to relationships, mental & physical health status, or my career. Politics, on the other hand, well, guilty as charged. Digital identities can be misconstrued, maligned, targeted, misinterpreted, criticized, etc and I'd rather not subject myself or my loved ones to any of that. That said, it hasn't always been that way. I had to learn my lesson and that took time. I had to put in the work. I have to continue to put in the work and practice humility. Going full analog with pen to paper has helped tremendously in this regard. Good ol' fashioned journaling/diary entries along with a gratitude list. Meditation with a twist. Do it!

Thanks for this post, Ben. I believe many of us have a digitally identity and an IRL identity that aren’t aligned. I’m working on showing up 100% authentically digitally which is how I like to show up in person but I find it more challenging out of fear more than anything.

@Corey Badcock I get it. I've been quiet for some time on LinkedIn, but my plan is to embrace this role and post more about it soon.

@Ben Paul Morris Oh man, this is great Ben. Life changes and our stuff has to move to make room and there's often such a great benefit as you've described. I've had to empty out a storage unit full of event stuff and now I've got a storage unit full of TVs from events that are doing me no good. Gotta manage the big sale!
Welcome to the Impossible Community (please introduce yourself, if you wish)
This is a small but incredibly meaningful step and I am so happy you are here. Let me introduce myself. I’m Pete Erickson, founder of The Impossible Works. This methodology was born from my own journey of pursuing goals I once believed were impossible. Over time, I learned something profound: The biggest breakthroughs in my life came from choosing the goals I thought I wasn’t ready for. And today, I’m living proof: You already have everything you need to define and then accomplish your Impossible goals, where they eventually become inevitable. This community exists to help you discover that truth for yourself. How This Community Works: The Impossible Community is designed around a simple rhythm: 1. Weekly Impossible Prompt Every Monday, I release a prompt to help guide your reflection and keep you aligned with your journey. These prompts are short, meaningful, and create powerful momentum. 2. The Impossible Roadmap Assessment The lite version of this assessment is free to all members and will help you understand your current life (your Possible Life) and begin shaping your journey to your impossible goals. 3. Step 1 Course — The Possible Life The foundational framework for understanding who you are today before clearly identifying your impossible goals. 4. A Global Community Walking the Path to their Impossible Life No pressure, no comparison and a safe space for people from around the world taking bold steps to something better or even unimaginable. Membership Levels: Choose the Path That Fits Your Journey The community has three levels that are the trilogy of this journey: 1. IMPOSSIBLE — Free Start your journey. Gain clarity. Build momentum.Perfect for anyone beginning to explore what’s possible. Includes: - Weekly Impossible Prompt - Step 1: The Possible Life course - Impossible Roadmap Lite Assessment - Community access - Replay access to Weekly Prompt Calls This is where everyone begins. 2. INEVITABLE (paid) Designed to Make your Impossible Goal become Inevitable in less than 90 days. For people ready to commit to one big goal and get structure, community, coaching, and accountability.

@James Poulter I love how specific this goal is....you're in the right place.
Prompt: How Does Gratefulness Impact Your Goals?
Gratefulness plays an integral role in our identities. It shifts our focus from what’s missing to what’s already supporting us. Reflect on how gratefulness shapes your energy, decision-making, and momentum. What are you grateful for right now that actually helps you move toward your goals, both possible and impossible? Write a few sentences or bullet out the sources of strength already in your life. Have an awesome Thanksgiving! We're headed to Ellicott City, Maryland for a big cousin party, our kids say Thanksgiving Day is their favorite day of the year and we are so blessed. Pete

@Ben Paul Morris this is a great realization, and you’re shifting identity to someone who practices gratitude. Sharing this openly is so helpful and appreciated.
