Five months into my journey, I had an honest moment with myself.
At some point, I stopped tracking my food. Not because it didn’t work—but because I thought I didn’t need to anymore. I told myself I “knew better by now.” I had momentum. Progress. Confidence. And slowly, I let go of one of the very things that helped me succeed in the beginning. Here’s the truth I had to face: As you get closer to your goal, you actually need to be more strategic, not less. Tracking calories in vs calories out isn’t about punishment or obsession. For me, it’s about awareness and accountability. Complacency can sneak in quietly. You don’t fall off—you just stop doing the small things that created the biggest results early on. So I went back to basics. I started tracking again. Not because I failed—but because I’m committed to finishing strong. If you’ve eased up on the habits that once moved the needle, this is your reminder: Returning to fundamentals is not a setback. It’s wisdom. 👉🏾 Have you noticed yourself letting go of any “small” habits lately?

Checking In With Our Community
Hey everyone 🤍 I wanted to take a moment to reset the tone of this space. This group is meant to be a safe, encouraging community for learning, growth, and real conversations. Not a place for perfect posts, polished answers, or having everything figured out. You don’t need to be an expert to participate. You don’t need the “right” words. You don’t even need a long response. If all you can do is comment “I’m here,” that counts. If you have a question, that counts. If you’re still observing and learning, that’s okay too. My heart for this group is simple: ✨ show up as you are ✨ grow at your own pace ✨ support one another along the way I’ll continue to lead and share, but this space becomes powerful when we grow together. If you’re committed to being part of this community—whether quietly or actively—drop a 👍🏽 or say “I’m here” in the comments so I know you’re with me. Grateful for each of you.
