Journey Update: Maintenance Calories & Muscle
This weight loss and wellness Journey takes consistency and constant monitoring.
I’ve been on TirZ for almost 1 year. June 19th will be my pepperversary! Lol 😃.
📋 My goal was to lose 30 pounds going from 156 to 126. I chose that based on what my BMI calc would be a healthy range for me and 126 was in the higher end of that.
🩺👨🏽‍⚕️ I also needed to lower my blood pressure, A1C, reduce Nerve pain. After I hit my goal most of this was accomplished. I wanted to remain that same weight but I lost an additional 6 pounds..
🌸 I am 5’1, and at 120.6 I feel my body looks skinny. I want To go back up a few pounds but want it to be muscle.
I walk a lot due to my new lifestyle in a foreign country and thought that was enough, but I’m finding I have to be more intentional with what kind of exercise I’m doing.
🌺 So, I am back to tracking more consistently.
The biggest adjustment are calories. They must increase instead of eating in a deficit…
Its real easy to under eat because you’re not as hungry on Tirz , and I’m on a low maintenance dose. (Im not dropping it because its helped me get off blood pressure pills and I need it to keep my A1C down).
Soooooo lol 😂 Now , I have to be intentional with my muscle building and maintaining healthy Hi protein /Lowcarb + fiber.
My goal is to:
🏋🏾‍♂️resistence train at least 3 x a week 💪🏾 💪🏾💪🏾
🍣Keep protien intake 80-120 grams daily 🍗🍗🍗
🌯Calorie intake 1,600-1900 daily 🥗🌯🍲
💤Uninterrupted sleep 😴 🛌
