The Paretto Principle is like the law of gravity whereby, typically speaking, we observe 80% of outcomes are the result of 20% of causes. Hence, you go out to 100 people you know > 80 of them outright ignore you > 20 of them respond (open the communication line) > 4-5 are interested > 1-2 buy with real money. Too much work? Reach out to 100 people in your phone contacts. "Hey Pat! What's up? Haven't heard from you in while. How's it going?" Start the dialogue. When it doesn't feel weird, and they come back asking about your thing, "Well as a matter of fact, we started this company where we _____. Feel free to share this with your friends or people you like that would appreciate it: MyLink.com - you can send it to friends you don't like, too." Just like the Seattle Seahawks traveling to Pittsburgh in Week 2 of the NFL season or the blind squirel that finally finds the acorn, you'll have a win, too! The point is, you have to start somewhere and you can only get good at promoting your online business if you practice.
