What gives you more dopamine: getting something, using something, or owning something?

What's a piece of money advice that you are questioning right now?

I used to spend a loooot of time trying to save money. I clipped coupons, I searched for the best deals, I did all the tips and tricks. Then one day, someone told me that I was thinking about it backwards. There is a limit to the amount I could save, but there is essentially no limit to the amount you can earn. And that actually made a lot of sense to me. So ever since then, I've been trying to shift so much of my time from figuring out how to save and instead focusing more of that time on how I could potentially earn more. What do you think? Do you need more time towards saving or should you spend more time figuring out how to earn more?
