The Power of Acceptance
The power of "Acceptance" can be powerful and breathtaking; at times it can also be overwhelming and confusing. BUT, it doesn't mean you are giving up or have to remove your emotions. It really just means that you are going to accept reality "for what it is". It is purely about accepting what is happening in that moment, no resistance or denial. However, it doesn't require you to "Approve" of the situation, and it doesn't mean you can't make changes to get new results. Letter-writing activities challenge you to think about who you are, who you were and who you want to be. Writing letters can be both extremely emotionally freeing and help you think critically about how you should live now. There are many types of letters to write to yourself; here we highlight two: - Writing to your future self (Part 1) - Writing to your past self (Part 2) - * I want you to write a letter to your past and future self, explaining your life in the present and how you want to see your self in the future and what you have learned from your past.
