I just deployed (still am but I'm almost done with my list] what I'm calling 5 minute wins!
I understand not everyone NEEDS to do this. But some of us do, so I wanted to share in case it helps someone 🥰
I have to be ready for my appointment at 9:10
So what I did is figure out the steps required in order to do that.
Wrote those down.
And figured out how many 5-minute segments are in that amount of time.
And assigned a "task" to a 5 minute slot
This gave proof to my brain that we CAN do this. So then it let me get up.
And the FACT is, by doing this, I actually got downstairs in half the time than I allotted.
Without rushing
So what I do is I write out steps.
And allott each step 5 minutes.
If I finish the step before the 5 minutes goes off, I just move on to the next step.
But the timers make sure I don't get "stuck" in any step.
It also allows my brain to just FOCUS on ONE step for 5 minutes at a time (if needed).
Anyway just wanted to share because I'm definitely tired and all the things yet this allowed me to do it!
