I realized that for me, at least currently, the more I can learn how to compartmentalize, the more effective I will be in every area 😁
For example, I'm reminding my nervous system we don't have to figure out anything else tonight (or maybe we do😅, since my daughter is home). But I don't HAVE to continue churning on figuring out non-urgent things. That is a trauma response. The feeling that I can NEVER rest or relax because God forbid something happens, etc etc. But I'm calling it out because it isn't fair to me or even true😊
I'm truly learning how to relax. How to recover.
And that being said, I am going to eat dinner 🥰
