Welcome to Our Community: Excited to Have You Join Us!
Welcome to The Clinical Classroom, a vibrant and collaborative community dedicated to supporting individuals navigating chronic health challenges. In a digital landscape filled with noise and misinformation, this community stands as a beacon of authenticity and empowerment, completely free of charge. Here, we recognize that true expertise is earned through dedicated study, hands-on experience and a commitment to ongoing learning. True expertise is not merely about having knowledge, but about the ability to apply that knowledge effectively in real-world situations. In a society where profit often takes precedence, I’ve chosen a different path. I've chosen to prioritize accessibility and impact over profit. My commitment is to provide unparalleled value, recognizing the importance of accessibility in transforming your health. Of course everyone needs to make a living to keep a roof over their head and food in their bellies, but by placing resources behind a paywall you inherently limit it’s reach. Which is not my goal. Instead, I believe in fostering a community where everyone can access the help they need. Nelson Madela once said that “education is one of the most powerful weapons we can use to change the world.” Providing education and resources without charge expands opportunities for individuals to receive assistance. My aim is to equip you with the necessary tools and resources to improve your health, alongside the supportive environment of our community. As the founder of The Clinical Classroom and a healthcare provider myself, I bring a unique perspective to this community. My clinical expertise is grounded in both the literature of today as well as years of firsthand experience with the patients I’ve had the privilege and opportunity to work with. However, I firmly believe that the true power of this community lies within our collective experiences. We all learn through failure but those failures don’t have to be our own. By coming together, we can learn from each other's triumphs as well as our setbacks, enriching not only our individual journeys but also the experiences of all members, present and future. This community is designed to foster collaboration and mutual support. While I'll be sharing my own insights and expertise, I also invite you to contribute your own experiences and perspectives. Together, we can create a space where everyone feels valued, empowered, and equipped with the tools necessary to navigate their current health challenge.
Stress Management!
I just finished recording the last video for our stress management course! All I have to do now is edit the videos and get it posted. I can't wait to see what y'all think about the information within this course! There is probably 8 hours worth of material... Apprecaite you being patient with me. I'll try to get it out as soon as I can.
Updated Sleep Course
Hey there, first off I wanted to say that I appreciate each and everyone of you that go through these course and I hope that you are getting some value out of them. What topic do you think I should do next? As you probably know a few weeks back I released a full course on sleep and as the weeks have gone on it has become more and more evident that I think I may have fallen a bit short in one key area. While the original course included plenty of tactical tools and strategies, it wasn’t laid out in a step-by-step, systematic way that was easy to follow. So, I went back to the drawing board and fixed that by adding a brand-new section on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). CBT-I is the gold standard for treating insomnia and improving sleep quality. If you've already watched the full sleep course there will be parts of this new section that seem repetitive but I have laid it out in a way that over the course of 6 weeks you have specific and actionable things to perform with each passing week. I hope you like it! Let me know what you think and if you have any questions.
🚨 New Course Just Dropped: Correcting Chronic Fatigue 🚨
If you’ve been feeling like your body’s running on fumes (despite doing everything right) you’re not crazy, lazy, or imagining it. This is for the people who’ve been told “your labs are fine,” “you just need more sleep,” or “maybe it’s all in your head.” I created this free course to give you a full breakdown of what chronic fatigue actually is, why it happens, and what you can do to finally start feeling like yourself again. Inside the course, we cover: - Why your mitochondria are underperforming: We break down the three non-negotiables your cells need to make energy, and what can block them—like oxygen delivery issues, blood sugar imbalances, and antioxidant depletion. - The silent factors driving your fatigue: Chronic infections, environmental toxins, inflammation, poor circulation, anemia, even dehydration—these are often missed but massively influential. - How to use exercise (without crashing): Learn how to pace, track, and gradually rebuild capacity using graded movement and adaptive pacing techniques that honor your limits while expanding them over time. - How stress and sleep completely change your energy story: We cover how stress isn’t just emotional and how poor sleep hijacks recovery at a cellular level. - Supplementation: what helps, what doesn’t, and how to spot the junk This isn’t about hacks. It’s about systems-level recovery—backed by research, built from experience, and designed to work with your body instead of against it. And yes—it’s 100% free. You’ll find it inside the Courses tab right now. Let me know what clicks with you most once you dig in.

Staying Focussed
I am a patient of Dr. Shem. After having a workplace injury where metal slam through my head resulting in a TBI, I finally found someone who understood, the brain, For the first time I was heard, and understood. Unfortunately, my work with him has been placed on hold, as my DR's believe it is too stressful on my heart. I am not quite clear on how the work with Dr. Shem could be too stressful on the heart, but am gratful he provides this classroom. It is often difficult to get through the videos as my eyes are not what they once were, and I get easily distracted. Does anyone else have this issue? If so what do you do to stay focussed? My main goal is to get my memory back. I cannot wait to get back to work with him. I am fortunate, he provides this to his patients, and that I found him.
