A little disappointed
Went back for my follow up regarding my iron infusion. My doctor walked in and and thought it had been a year since I had my iron infusion, when I told him it had only been 2 months his tone changed 🥴. I found out that my iron numbers look good but my ferritin only went up from the teens into the 50s. My hematologist was very positive going into the infusion, thinking I would only need 1 but now we are looking at doing another one in about 6 months. They are sooo expensive even with insurance.
