Hi everyone! We had a wonderful office hours tonight going over gut health in more detail. Fun fact: focusing on gut health isn't just for someone with "obvious" gut issues like bloating, bowel movement issues, stomach aches, etc. If you also experience the inability to lose weight, getting sick frequently/ always on antibiotics, anxiety, acne or eczema, hormonal issues, or even having low energy, gut health is something worth prioritizing! The gut really is at the center of the immune system and focusing on it can really make a huge difference in your healing Below is the replay of a presentation I put together. Hello everyone! I’m Rachel. I’m here because I feel that finally someone can give me answers as to why I’m not able to lose weight, even though I’m consistently trying with the foods that I eat, working out and living a lifestyle that healthy for sure. I’m also excited to get to the root cause of why my labs are normal but my weight isn’t budging!
Intro
Hi everyone. I'm a 40 year old mom of two older teen girls. For the past 2 years I've worked with my PCP, GI, functional health nurses, everlywell, and I would just like to feel better. I've always had a great memory and lately I'm so forgetful. I've always had stomach issues and never really realized it, just dealt with it. I also have been stuck at this weight for about 2 years even though ive done numerous elimination diets and stopped drinking alcohol. I hope to learn more and figure out how I can feel good again.
