With Tyler’s guidance
Hello friends!!! I feel the need to share what I thought would be an impossible journey for myself. It’s gonna be long so please be patient.
My recovery and progress started when I first met Tyler on TikTok. This is way back when he first started doing lives. There was a reason he showed up on my page, but I didn’t know why at that time. Now I know.
I started with a simple request for suggestions to stop smoking. Well, this got him excited, which excited me. I put the suggestion into place and lo and behold it freaking worked after a few bumps in the road. Not only was I proud of myself, Tyler was my biggest cheerleader!!!
Then I proceeded to nutrition questions. I was not eating much at the time and was concerned about getting what I needed. Tyler told me about protein needed and many other suggestions. This, too, I implemented.
Then I sent him an email (book really) of myself, my medical history, a family issue I was concerned about and basically a run down of all the things I had either dealt with or needed suggestions for. He stepped up like nobody ever had. He gave me guidance and suggestions that I never really thought about. In all this time, he has never forgotten anything I talked with him about. Side note - his memory is fantastic!
Then I was interested in physical activities I could do because my mobility was a challenge. When he did his first at home exercises that can be done and the many different ways this can be accomplished, I was happy as a pig in you know where! It was like he was making it personally for me.
Working the suggestions, one step at a time I was able to accomplish more in less than 8 months that I’ve known him than decades of trying to do for myself. Why? Because I truly listened to him and believed he was looking out for my best interest.
Tyler always says he can only suggest, guide or support you. But it’s up to us to do the work. In doing the work, I also learned that I AM capable of doing what is needed to help myself with the right person behind me cheering me on.
I don’t want to forget to mention all his Tylerisms! Ride the wave, you’ve survived 100% of your worst days, etc. It’s like he is living in my head saying just what I need to hear.
I say all of the above to say this, because of Tyler and his constant support I’ve been able better myself in ways I never thought. After my last routine check, my blood pressure is the best it’s been in many years. I’ve lost 50 pounds (I thought it was 20). I can move about with more stability. My mind is calmer because, like I said, his words are on repeat constantly in my mind. My doctor (yes, I told him about working with Tyler) is very excited about the progress I’ve made.
Listen, put into practice what Tyler says. One step at a time. Do it for yourself. You are stronger than you realize. Plus we have the best cheerleader in the world behind us.
