It can be as simple as saying you're going to get out of bed at 10am and actually doing it, versus saying you'll get out of bed at 5am and sleeping in until 5:30am.
Ecclesiastes 5:5 states "it is better to not make any vow, than to make a vow and not fulfill it."
Action steps: instead of planning out the perfect day and always falling short, start by simplifying your schedule and committing to less things. Instead of planning to do 10 things and only completing 9 of them, instead commit to 3 things and be damn sure you will complete all 3...
