Meta has launched Muse Image, its newest image-generation model, and previewed Muse Video, which is coming soon.
Muse Image is available now in the Meta AI app and on meta.ai, with access also rolling out through Instagram Stories in the US and WhatsApp in limited countries. Here’s why this matters if you’re building an online presence:⤵️
Muse Image does more than turn a sentence into a picture. It can search for current information, use coding tools to improve accuracy, review its own work, and refine the image before delivering the final result.
You can also give it multiple reference images, think: people, objects, clothing, styles, or environments... and then ask it to combine those elements into one new visual.😮
For small-business owners, the possibilities include:
✨ product images
✨ branded graphics
✨ Instagram content
✨ event invitations
✨ visual marketing assets
Meta says everyday creation with Muse Image is free, with subscription options available for people who want to create more.
This is one of those updates that can sound like “another tool to learn,” but it may be worth testing because it’s being built into platforms many of us already use. And I think it will be interesting to compare what it's able to create versus other image tools like ChatGPT Image 2.0.
Below I've posted an image I created with ChatGPT's Image 2.0 model, and then the second one is from Meta's new Muse model using the same prompt. A couple of important notes... ChatGPT knows my style and branding better because I've been using it more, however I did give my brand colors and style preference in the prompt. These are first image generations with no iterating. I'll definitely continue playing around with the Meta Muse model free tier.
What do you think? Have you tried Meta AI yet? If you do... test it out and drop your comparison's below too👇
