How to port your ChatGPT brain into Claude (in 2 minutes)

I’ve mentioned before why Claude is my daily driver over ChatGPT.

It comes down to this: ChatGPT is great at thinking, but Claude is an intelligent executor.

If you’ve been wanting to transfer your context from ChatGPT over to Claude, you don't have to start from scratch. It takes two minutes. Check out the screenshots for a visual guide.

The Workflow:

Open Claude and go to Settings.
Click Capabilities.
Copy the prompt provided there (I’ve also dropped it in the first comment below for easy access).
Paste that prompt into ChatGPT. It will package the most valuable stored memories.
Drop that output straight into Claude and click Save to Memory.

This doesn’t alter or impact your ChatGPT account in any way.

It just means you aren't locked into a single ecosystem.
