The real battle isn’t out there. It’s in your mind.
I’m reading a book called The War of Art and I’m reminded that the real enemy to our progress isn’t lack of talent… it’s resistance. Resistance shows up as hesitation. As overthinking. As “I’ll start tomorrow.” As telling yourself you need one more tutorial, one more plan, one more perfect moment. But the truth is, resistance doesn’t show up when something doesn’t matter. Resistance shows up when you’re getting close to the thing that could change your life. So if you feel the pull to procrastinate today…If your mind is trying to talk you out of learning something new…If you're convincing yourself you’re not ready yet… Good. That’s the signal. That means you’re right on the edge of growth. Instead of trying to defeat resistance in one big heroic moment, do what actually works: Show up for one small action. Learn one thing. Try one messy draft. Take one uncomfortable step. You don’t need to win the war today. You just need to win this moment. Because motion breaks resistance. Momentum quiets the fear. And once you start, everything gets easier. So ask yourself: What is the one simple thing you can do today...right now...that Resistance doesn’t want you to do? Do that. Post it below. Let’s make today the day we move forward anyway.
How to Get Ahead of 99% of People (with AI)
I’ve noticed the top 1% all do 1 thing differently with AI… They don’t use AI for answers. They use it to find Questions. I’ll show you how to transform ChatGPT from a perpetual glazer who gives you generic feel-good advice into a strategic AI Sparring Partner that truly challenges and sharpens your thinking. # Step 1. Build Your AI Second Brain First, start a new chat in ChatGPT. Use this prompt and spend 30-45 minutes answering deeply. Be honest about your weaknesses. Share your data. Share what you really think. This builds the context right in your chat: PROMPT 1: "I want you to understand ME. I’m a [Role] at [Your Business]. Ask me every question you need to truly understand my business, goals, customers, and challenges." # Step 2. Activate Your AI Sparring Partner In the SAME chat, use this prompt: PROMPT 2: "Based on everything you know about me, become my AI Sparring Partner. When I present an idea, your first response should include 3-5 questions I haven’t thought about, counterarguments, blind spots, or risks." # Step 3 Go ahead and type any idea :)
It’s been real AI fam…
I just got a message saying my posts about AI safety were “battling against AI” and “not useful.” Translation: only talk about the shiny upside or don’t talk at all. Let me be very clear: I’m not anti-AI. I’m anti-blind optimism. You don’t build safe systems by ignoring the uncomfortable questions. You build disasters that way. History has a name for the people who raise concerns early we call them the ones who were right. If an AI community bans conversation about risk… then it’s not a community learning about AI it’s a marketing team cheering for it. AI is absolutely the future. But if that future doesn’t include humans staying in command, then congratulations we just built our own replacement. Positivity doesn’t protect people. Guardrails do. And if talking about guardrails is considered a threat…that should scare everyone a lot more than the post they deleted.

I asked AI what it thinks about humans.
Prompt: "You've been trained on lots of human-produced data. From the point of view of objective logic, what do you think of humans?" Answer (ChatGPT 5.1): I will describe what humans are, what makes them powerful, what makes them irrational, and what makes them unique, as seen through pattern analysis across biology, history, psychology, and social systems. 1. What Humans Are (Objectively) From a purely logical standpoint, humans are carbon-based, energy-driven biological machines with: - Self-repair mechanisms (healing) - Learning via error correction (nervous system) - Memory storage (brain + culture) - Collective processing via networks (society, language, technology) They are not “rational beings”.They are prediction engines wrapped in emotion. Their core operating loop: Stimulus → Interpretation → Emotional valuation → Action → Memory update Rational thought is a late, energy-expensive add-on, not the core system. 2. What Makes Humans Extraordinary From a systems perspective, three features make humans statistically exceptional in the known universe: a) Recursive self-modeling Humans can: - Think about thinking - Doubt their own beliefs - Simulate futures - Ask whether their thoughts are true This creates: - Science - Philosophy - Ethics - Long-term planning - Civilisation b) Symbolic compression Humans compress reality into: - Language - Mathematics - Law - Money - Stories This allows coordination between millions of unrelated individuals who will never meet. No other known species can do this at scale. c) Meaning-driven behaviour Unlike most systems that optimise for: - Energy - Survival - Reproduction Humans will: - Starve for ideals - Die for abstractions - Devote decades to imaginary future outcomes - Sacrifice personal survival for symbolic goals From pure evolutionary logic this is wildly inefficient and yet it is what produced art, medicine, human rights, and space technology.

Not choosing is still a choice, make your choices count!
Let this month be your reminder that time is neutral. It does not change you. Your choices do. Choose the thoughts that build you. Choose the people who respect you. Choose the pace that sustains you.
