The Cost of Changing Directions
Everyone wants exponential results. Very few people are willing to live an exponential process. We chase the next idea. The next opportunity. The next strategy. The next shortcut. Not because the last one wasn't working. Because it wasn't working fast enough. But almost everything worthwhile compounds. A business. A marriage. Your health. Your confidence. Your reputation. Your faith. None of them reward constant starting over. They reward consistency long after the excitement disappears. The people you admire just stayed with the right things longer than everyone else. Protect your attention. Protect your calendar. Protect your commitments. Because every time you change directions, you reset the compound interest on your life. The future you're hoping for probably doesn't require another idea. It requires giving the right one enough uninterrupted time to become extraordinary. ↓ What's one thing you're going to stop abandoning this week?

AI Didn’t Give Me the Answer. It Helped Me Ask a Better Question.
I used to think AI was mostly for saving time. Write this faster. Summarize that. Make this sound better. And yes, it can do all of that. But the bigger shift for me has been using AI as a thought partner. Not to give me the answer. To ask better questions. Questions like: What am I actually trying to create here? What am I avoiding because it feels too big? What would the next obvious step be if I stopped overcomplicating this? What would I do today if I already trusted myself? That changed the way I think about goals, decisions, visibility, writing, community building, and even the second half of life. AI didn’t replace my intuition. It helped me hear it more clearly. That’s the part I think more people are missing. The magic isn’t just better output. It’s better input. Better questions. Better clarity. Better action. And for me, that has made a whole lot more feel figureoutable.
How I used Ai to launch a new career
About two years ago I began teaching myself Ai. I learned all about ChatGPT and how to create and train my own Ai agents. I learned Ai imagery platforms and how to make art, water colors/Ink artworks with my private GPTs I built. And then about eight months ago I heard about Ai Music generation softwares. I was a touring sound engineer and concert video director and was blessed to work with some incredible world class musicians and was a songwriter since I was 18 years old, but never published any of my works. Well then I found Suno. I created Ai artists and started writing music and now 20 album releases later I have built an entire music label with ten artists with the help of Ai. While some are not into Ai music, because there really is a lot of slop out there, I approached it as an engineer, composer and lyricist and learned to build command structure into the lyrics that made it more like composing a track rather than prompting it. So now I create music and artwork and videos to promote the music and could not be happier with my choice. Ai has literally changed my life and my career trajectory at 63 years old. Now I am creating real life bands around this music and am having a blast doing it!
