Think for yourself and verify….
Hey Community, I read a post in a community that made six points. Immediately, I asked myself I wonder if that’s true? What would have taken me 10-15 minutes to check and cross reference, ChatGPT did in a matter of two seconds.
1 point was accurate
3 points partially accurate
2 points in accurate/untrue
What stood out to me in the results was the fact that ChatGPT referenced that some of the information, even though inaccurate, is widely spread or shared online. This immediately Jarred, my memory in reference to a wealth conference I attended in person approximately 17 years ago. And the speaker at that conference made this statement,” Whether the information is true, or not, if someone says something often enough and loud enough people will begin to accept it as fact!!” And then he repeated his statement, but this time said it a little more slowly, Whether - the - information - is true - or not - if someone - says - something - often enough - and loud enough - people - will begin - to accept it as fact!!”
I am not an expert or a guru ( NO, the post was not from either and it was not from a leader in this community), but I do have a lot of life experiences and knowledge, that being said this is just something for you to consider and think about ( in my humble opinion), AI and technology is without a doubt, a powerful tool – understatement, and we are living in a fast paced world, and things are moving quickly, but let’s not forget about the basics and let’s continue to use our own minds and consider – or reconsider any and all information that we read or that is presented to us. Let’s not become so lackadaisical that we accept anything that we read or hear as truth or fact, without verifying its accuracy.!!!!
