The risks vs the rewards?

I’m finding there’s a big gap between how AI agents and automation tools like Claude Cowork are being presented (seamless, life-changing, do it now) versus what I’m reading everywhere- including from the creators (proceed carefully, real security risks, easy to get wrong).

For those of you on level 3 actually using these; what’s the honest reality? Where have you seen it work brilliantly, and where have you seen it go wrong or have felt genuinely uncomfortable? I want to make an informed decision before I dive in.
