There may not be a right or wrong answer, but in my opinion it comes down to mindset. If the method itself were wrong, we probably wouldn’t be trading it in the first place. So it makes me wonder.. why is sticking to the plan so difficult in trading, even when we know the strategy works?
Hey everyone, I’m fairly new here and have been going through a lot of the discussions in the community. There’s a lot of solid insight being shared.
One thing I’ve been thinking about recently is trading psychology. I’ve noticed that many of the challenges in trading don’t seem to come from the strategy itself, but from how we react emotionally during trades — especially after a loss or a missed opportunity. Sometimes sticking to the plan feels harder than actually finding the setup.
For those with more experience, what has helped you the most with managing the psychological side of trading? Was there a specific habit, mindset shift, or routine that made a real difference for you?”
