Hi, I’m Midgi Loan.

I’ve been a hairstylist since 1986. In 2007 I opened my own salon — 13 stations, 2 treatment rooms, lasers, and cryotherapy. I was one of four salons in the valley offering cryo at the time.

Two years later, the neighbor’s fire destroyed what I built. I rebuilt with insurance money, but the smoke and black mold made it impossible to work in. I ended up paying $5,300 a month for 5 years to cover the rebuild while renting rooms for$1000 a month.

For seven years I relocated almost every year — sometimes twice in one year. New permits, new business cards, tracking down every client. I worked seven days a week. I never missed a payment. I never filed for bankruptcy.

I’m 63 now. I’m building the next chapter — teaching videos, a book, using AI to create new income streams. I’ve rebuilt before. I can do it again.
