Hi everyone! I just figured I'd throw in something to help any beginners who still feel overwhelmed. I consider myself a beginner even though I've been using ChatGPT for about 2 years now. I really haven't used many of the other tools very much. If you almost never use AI I think ChatGPT is a good starting point. Just play around with it. Have some conversations. Get a feel for how it responds. Then ask it to do some things. Maybe to help you write something like a proposal or an email reaching out to a client. Ask it to make changes where changes need to be made. Then do your own final edits if needed. Start small. Think baby steps.
Get really familiar with one tool. Stretch that tool to its limits. Then after a while you can try another tool to add to your arsenal. So at some point in the near future I may try Claude. Right now I'm still using ChatGPT only. But I might recommend for totally new beginners, start with ChatGPT. Then later once you're comfortable, if you'd like, try Claude. This is coming from one beginner to another. Sometimes simplicity is key.
There are so many new things coming out but there is a simple plan of action for anyone. I'll also give you a prompt you can try with ChatGPT......... Think of a goal you have or something you'd like to do. Then ask the AI model: "If I wanted to do X,Y,Z, how would you ask ChatGPT to do that? What would be the best questions to ask to get the outcome I want to achieve?" Listen to its responses and then feed those same questions back to it. (Example: If I wanted to start a marketing business, how would you ask ChatGPT to do that? What would be the best questions to ask to get the outcome I want?).
OK. Have fun!
